New Boots Line Dancing has been teaching custom line dancing lessons for Nashville’s visitors and locals since 2016.

Created by Jess and Jimmy, who met in Nashville in 2006, NBLD has taught thousands of attendees how to boot scoot n’ boogie. From the coolest pop-up studios, to the flashiest Honky-tonks, trendiest hotels, and cutest vacation rentals, our team of professional dance instructors have brought our moves all over Nashville.

Whether headed to Broadway, a besties’ wedding, or just having fun with friends and family, we hope our attendees leave with a smile on their face, song in their head, and kick in their step.

Meet Our Instructors

Owner
A love of country music brought Jess from Chicago to Nashville in 2006. A combination of working with small businesses and 20 years of dance training inspired her to develop New Boots in 2016. When she’s not home with her two kids you can find her trying all the new restaurants Nashville has to offer.

Lead Instructor
Originally from Mobile, AL, Andréa has lived in Nashville for 8 years. From a young age she trained in all dance styles, and you may have seen her on the Titans field as she cheered and choreographed with the NFL team for three years. Andréa’s favorite spot in Nashville is Bicentennial Park.

As a Nashville resident since her teenage years, Libby has watched the city evolve. She started ballet and cheer at a young age and her love of movement and music brought her to line dancing. Her favorite spots in Nashville are Rosemary’s, Butcher and Bee, and Mother’s Ruin.

Senior Instructor
Kaylee grew up a Midwestern girl but has lived in Nashville for 11 years. She began dancing at age 3 and had the honor of dancing as a Tennessee Titans Cheerleader from 2016-2018. When not running her rescue pups in the park, you can find her hanging in Midtown.

Courtney is one of our newest Instructors! She has a background in dance and performance, including her years cheering for the Tennessee Titans and turn as Miss Mississippi USA in 2015.

Jess & Jimmy, Co-Owners

As students at Nashville’s Belmont University, Jess and Jimmy met in 2006 and have been friends ever since. In their nearly 20 years in this city they’ve watched it grow to shine as a tourist destination with millions of visitors each year. Combining Jess’ knowledge of dance and working with small business and Jimmy’s vast experience working in the Country Music Industry they created NBLD from the ground up in 2016. Their goal was to create a fun day-time activity where attendees could learn to line dance among their friends and family and have the confidence to take their moves to the Honky-tonks at night.
